Jonathan has been infatuated with the science fiction and fantasy stories since childhood, raised on a healthy dose of Star Wars and Saturday morning cartoons. When shows were unavailable, he along with his twin brother, would create characters and stories with stuffed animals.
It wasn’t until middle school when he began writing in his spare time. It was slow at first. A short story here. A quick idea in a notebook there. Movies still held a greater interest, but his endless daydreaming didn’t slow.
Confidence in his writing grew after high school and into college, where he took several creative writing courses and a writing workshop.
He has one published short story in the anthology, The Monsters Hiding in Your Closet.
A lifetime Minnesotan, he graduated from Saint Cloud State University with a degree in Marketing and later picked up a degree in Computer Programming from Saint Cloud Technical College.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his twin brother, watching movies, and playing ultimate frisbee.
